A PAINTED METAL FIGURAL LIQUOR DISPENSER WITH CUT AND ETCHED GLASS DECANTER AND CUPS, CIRCA 1900 - An unusual late 19th to early 20th-century figural liquor service modeled as a standing Black female attendant carrying an elaborate metal framework fitted with a large barrel-form glass decanter and multiple drinking cups. Suspended from the figure's hands is an elaborate wirework framework accommodating an assortment of cut and etched glass cups and mugs. Raised on a circular metal base. Continental European, probably French or Austrian, circa 1890-1910. Dimensions: H: 13 3/4 in., (35 cm.) Condition: Overall good condition with age-related wear. Losses, rubbing and oxidation to the painted and metal surfaces. The drinking glasses appear to be an assembled group and may include replacements of differing patterns and periods.
