A LARGE SKRUF CRYSTAL VASE BY BENGT EDENFALK, SWEDEN - A large Swedish Mid-Century Modern clear crystal vase designed by Bengt Edenfalk (1924-2016) for Skruf Glasbruk, circa 1960s-1970s. Of massive rectangular block form with a deep elongated aperture, one broad face decorated with a striking concentric circular motif composed of deeply cut and faceted elements, creating a strong optical and prismatic effect. Retaining the original ”SKRUF SWEDEN” label and ”FORM BENGT EDENFALK” label. Signed by hand along the lower edge ”Bengt Edenfalk Skruf” followed by a model or production number. Edenfalk designed for Skruf for several decades and is particularly associated with the factory's sculptural, heavily worked crystal forms. Dimensions: H: 7 1/2 in., (19.1 cm.)
