A FRENCH GALLE VASE IN PALE LEMON GREEN GLASS, SIGNED GALLÉ - A tall French Art Nouveau cameo glass vase by Émile Gallé, of slender cylindrical form rising from a broad compressed circular foot. The frosted pale lemon and cream-colored body is overlaid in vivid green glass and acid-etched with a continuous naturalistic design of flowering vines, leaves and stems. The decoration extends around the body and across the spreading foot, with finely delineated veins and details to the foliage. Signed in cameo ”Gallé” within the decoration. French, Nancy, circa 1900. Dimensions: H: 17 in., (43 cm.)
