A PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY NAPOLEON III ORMOLU MOUNTED RED JASPER EWERS - Antique 19th-century French Ormolu and marble jasper ewers. Each with a winged nymph handle above a flared spout and berried acanthus collar above a tapering ovoid body with a pierced foliage band and an acanthus-cast cradle on a waisted circular socle and square jasper base cornered by cast lion feet. A Putto mask ornates the lower junction of the handles and body. Dated Circa 1880s, France. Dimensions: H: 23 in., (58.4 cm.) Condition: Very good. Lightly loose the screw unions, normal for the age.
