A PAIR OF JAPANESE GILT-LACQUER MINIATURE HINA DOLL HIBACHI - Meiji to Taisho period, late 19th to early 20th century. Each miniature wooden brazier of rounded form is decorated in gold lacquer with peony blossoms and scrolling vines against a black ground, the interior gilt, resting on a matching four-legged lacquer stand.
