A CHINESE GILT-BRONZE OPENWORK CENSER LID, QING DYNASTY, 18TH-19TH CENTURY - A Chinese gilt-bronze domed censer cover of tiered form, finely cast and pierced in openwork with writhing dragons among scrolling clouds and floral motifs, above a band of archaistic geometric decoration. Surmounted by a large flame-form finial rising from a lotus-petal collar. Dimensions: H: 4 1/4 in., (10.8 cm.) Condition: Very good. Light surface wear. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
