A FRENCH PORCELAIN OIL LAMP IN NEOCLASSICAL GREEK STYLE, 19TH CENTURY - A fine porcelain oil lamp in Neoclassical Greek style, with a triangular base and foliate stem, the pot being shaped as an ancient oil lamp, painted with Greek key patterning and foliate motifs. The top is surmounted by a figure pouring out a jug. France, 19th Century. Dimensions: H: 8 3/4 in., (22 cm.) Condition: The gilding is slightly faded. Manufacture crack on the inkwell mouth.
