A CHINESE CHOPSTICK AND KNIFE TROUSSE SET, 19TH CENTURY - A Chinese traveling eating utensil set comprising a pair of chopsticks and a knife fitted with a wooden handle and metal pommel. The utensils are housed in a fitted, elongated case with a green shagreen wrap and engraved bone- or ivory-colored panels in animal form with delicate engraving. The case features brass mounts and suspension hardware. Dimensions: L: 11 5/8 in., (29.5 cm.) Condition: Very good, with expected minor wear due to age and use.
