A LARGE RUSSIAN SILVER KOVSH IN PAN-SLAVIC STYLE, MOSCOW, 1908-17 - Of traditional boat-shaped form, the prow chased with pomegranates and scrolling foliage, the tall openwork handle applied with stylized geometric and foliate ornament and terminating in curled rosettes. Marked on the bottom with Cyrillic maker's mark ”HIT”, ”84” silver standard, kokoshnik and assay marks. Weight: 25.5 oz., 722.9 g. Dimensions: L: 10 3/4 in., (27.5 cm.) Conditions: Very good.
