A LARGE RUSSIAN SILVER KOVSH, LIUBAVIN, 1899-1908 - Lyubavin, Moscow, 1899-1908. Of traditional oval form with a shaped handle, the interior richly gilt, the exterior plain and polished. The handle is engraved with a scrolling foliate design. Hallmarks: ”Lubavin” in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial Warrant, 84 Russian silver standard with kokoshnik mark, 875 Soviet silver proof hallmark. Weight: 30.5 o., 864 g. Dimensions: L:13 1/2 in., (34 cm.), H: 6 in., (15 cm.), W: 6 1/2 in., (17 cm.) Conditions: Good condition. Normal wear and traces of use, consistent with age.
