A RUSSIAN GILT SILVER KOVSH WITH CLOISONNE ENAMELED CLOISONNE, CA. 1905 - Of traditional rounded form on a circular foot, with a raised angular handle. The body is finely decorated with symmetrical flowerheads and scrolling foliage in shaded pink, blue, purple, green, yellow and white cloisonné enamel against a pale green ground. The handle is decorated with conforming foliate motifs and bordered with twisted silver wire. The interior is gilt. Hallmarks: ”84” silver standard and a partially rubbed maker's mark. Weight: 2.3 oz., 66 g. Dimensions: L: 3 1/2 in., (9 cm.) Conditions: Very good overall with one small repaired chip at the tip of the handle. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
