A RUSSIAN PARCEL-GILT-SILVER AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL TEA GLASS HOLDER - Russia, circa 1900. Of cylindrical form with a scalloped rim, raised on a spreading circular foot and fitted with a tall angular handle. The body is richly decorated with shaded cloisonné enamel scrolling foliage and stylized flowerheads in turquoise, blue, green, pink, white, violet and orange against a gilt stippled ground. The spreading foot is ornamented with geometric enamel borders, while the handle bears conforming floral decoration against a blue ground. The interior is gilt. Hallmarks: ES, 84, kokoshnik.
