A RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL EGG, 1908-17 - 11th Artel, Moscow, 1908–1917. Likely retailed by Tiffany & Co., New York, before 1914. This charming example of the work of the 11th artel in a very traditional form conceals two stands enameled en suite, facilitating conversion to egg cups, or in some traditions, vodka glasses. Hallmarks: ”11A”, 84 Russian silver standard, scratched inventory number 3708C. Weight: 5.9 o., 168 g. Dimensions: H: 5 1/4 in., (13.3 cm.) Conditions: Good condition.
