A RUSSIAN GILT-SILVER AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL CIGARETTE CASE, CA. 1880 - Russian cigarette case with rounded edges and a hinged lid, fitted with a thumbpiece clasp. Both sides feature intricate scrolling foliate and floral patterns in turquoise blue, cobalt blue, green, white, and purple enamel. The central design consists of an almond-shaped medallion with radiating concentric bands, filled with stylized floral motifs. Gilded interior. Hallmarks: 84 Russian silver standard, Saint Petersburg city mark. Weight: 6.6 o., 186 g. Dimensions: 4 1/4 x 2 3/4 in., (11 x 7 cm.) Conditions: Good condition.
