A RUSSIAN SILVER-MOUNTED CUT-GLASS CENTERPIECE TAZZA BY GRACHEV BROTHERS, ST. PETERSBURG, 1893 - The circular cut-glass bowl decorated with bands of geometric diamond cutting and a pointed lower border, supported within an openwork silver gallery of scrolling foliate ornament. The baluster-form stem applied with fluted and beaded borders, rising from a domed circular base raised on four ball feet. Marked beneath with the Grachev Brothers name beneath the Imperial double-headed eagle, the 84 silver standard and the date 1893. Dimensions: H: 13 in., (33 cm.); D: 10 1/2 in., (27 cm.)
