A RUSSIAN PARCEL-GILT-SILVER AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL TEA GLASS HOLDER - Russia, circa 1900. Of tapering cylindrical form with a flared base and tall angular scroll handle. The body is richly decorated with repeating diamond-shaped panels enclosing stylized flowerheads and scrolling foliage in blue, turquoise, green, white, burgundy and purple cloisonne enamel against a gilt ground. The upper rim is formed as a crown-like border of alternating enameled palmettes above turquoise bead and green foliate bands. The flared base and handle are decorated with conforming floral and foliate motifs. The interior is gilt. Hallmarks: Maker’s mark ”ДК” in Cyrillic, kokoshnik assay mark and ”84” silver standard.
