A SET OF SIX CASED RUSSIAN GILT-SILVER SALT CELLARS, 1899-1903 - St. Petersburg, Russia, 1899-1903. Each salt cellar is cylindrical, with gilt interiors, and accompanied by a matching gilt-bowl spoon. Contained in an original wooden case, the satin-lined interior is stamped in blue with the Imperial Warrant and Cyrillic inscription: ”Vladimirov, St. Petersburg, Nevsky Prospekt No. 31”, indicating the retailer. Hallmarks: maker's mark ”ZD” in Cyrillic, 84 Russian silver standard. Dimensions: Case D: 7 3/4 in., (19.5 cm.) Conditions: Good condition. Normal wear and traces of use, consistent with age.
