A LARGE RUSSIAN GILT-SILVER AND NIELLO SPOON, 1908-1917 - Russia, 1908-1917. The exterior of the bowl features a fine, engraved niello depiction of a Russian Orthodox church complex. The lower section of the scene is decorated with ornate scrollwork engraving. The handle has a baluster-shaped terminal with a pointed finial tip, decorated with spiral fluting and horizontal ribbed bands. Hallmarks: 84 Russian silver standard, maker’s mark ”K.B”.
