A RUSSIAN SILVER SPOON WITH NIELLO ENAMEL ARCHITECTURAL SCENE, 1875 - The circular bowl nielloed on the reverse with a detailed architectural view, apparently depicting the Pashkov House—then home to the Rumyantsev Museum—within a scrolling foliate border, the gilt interior issuing from a faceted neck and spiral-twist handle terminating in a faceted knop; struck with the Cyrillic marks С.К.Л and ВВ, assay master’s mark В.С for Viktor Savinkov, dated 1875, 84 zolotnik standard and St. George city mark for Moscow. Weight: 2.7 oz., 78 g. Dimensions: L: 7 in., (18 cm.) Conditions: Very good. Some surface scratches and dark spots in the inner side of the bowl. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
