A RUSSIAN AMBER GLASS VASE WITH GILT AND ENAMEL IMPERIAL REGALIA BY DAUM NANCY - Daum Nancy, France, late 19th - early 20th century. A Russian amber glass vase with gilt and enamel Imperial Regalia. The cylindrical amber-hued glass body with textured surface, finely decorated with the Imperial double-headed eagle beneath the crown, bearing arms of Russian territories, flanked by enameled heraldic shields and foliate gilt ornament, the rim mounted with a pierced and chased gilt-bronze collar, raised on a gilt-bronze foot. Marked on the bottom by the manufacturer. Dimensions: H: 7 7/8 in., (20 cm.) Conditions: The glass is in near-perfect condition. The gilding and paint are also very well preserved with some minor spots of wear. The copper mounts towards the top have oxidized slightly. The rest of the metal mounts are relatively clean.
