A RUSSIAN GILT-DECORATED CRYSTAL GLASS DECANTER BY THE NIKOLSKO-BAKHMETEV FACTORY, CA. 1860 - Of tapering conical form, the faceted crystal body is decorated in gilt with stylized flowering branches, scattered circular motifs and a broad lower border of floral-filled latticework panels. The elongated neck is applied with a faceted collar and fitted with a domed stopper surmounted by a faceted knop. Nikolско-Bakhmetev Glass Factory, Russia, circa 1860. Dimensions: H: 11 1/2 in., (28.5 cm.) Conditions: Condition appears good overall, with visible age-related rubbing and small losses to the gilding.
