A LARGE RUSSIAN PORCELAIN BOWL FROM THE BABIGON SERVICE BY THE IMPERIAL PORCELAIN FACTORY, ST. PETERSBURG, PERIOD OF NICHOLAS II, 1894–1917 - Of circular form with a deep rounded body raised on a low foot. The interior is centered by a gilt rosette, while the broad rim is decorated with a pale grey band of gilt flowering vines framed by gilt geometric borders and narrow russet lines. The exterior is encircled by a gilt foliate band. Marked beneath with the green Imperial cypher of Nicholas II, 1896. Dimensions: D: 11 in., (27.9 cm.)
