A RUSSIAN PORCELAIN FIGURE OF A GLAZIER, 19TH CENTURY - A Russian porcelain figure of a glazier (glassworker) with his top hat, glass holder, and apron. He stands atop a circular base with abstract colors and a gilt ring. The underside is unmarked. The figure appears to be modeled after an illustration by K.A. Zelentsov in Magic Lantern (Волшебный фонарь) magazine from 1817. Russia, 19th century. Dimensions: H: 8 in., (20.3 cm.) Conditions: Very good, with no apparent chips, cracks, or damage.
