A RUSSIAN GARDNER PORCELAIN FIGURE OF A PEASANT WOMAN AT WORK, 19TH CEN. - A Russian porcelain figure of a peasant woman produced by the Gardner Porcelain Factory om the 19th century. The woman is depicted seated on a bench as she stirs or churns something in a pot in her lap, two large pots flanking her legs. The underside of the base is marked with the red Gardner mark, as well as an impressed Gardner mark, code 'R4', and the number 123. Verbilki, Russia, 19th century.
