A RUSSIAN GARDENER PORCELAIN FIGURAL GROUPING 'WOMAN WITH DRUNKEN HUSBAND', 19TH CENTURY - A Russian porcelain figural grouping entitled 'Woman with Drunken Husband', produced by the Gardner Porcelain Factory circa 1870-1890. The piece depicts a woman attempting to help her drunken husband off the ground, his hand still clutching his bottle. Nearby lay his hat and one of his boots. Their child attempts to cling to the mother, not understanding what's happening. The underside is marked with the red Gardner mark, impressed Gardner mark, and number ”56”.
