A RUSSIAN PORCELAIN FIGURE OF A SBITEN VENDOR - A Russian porcelain figure of a Sbitenschik (Sbiten Vendor) produced by the Gardner Porcelain Factory. The man is depicted holding a sbitennik in one hand and a teapot in the other, a ring of crackers hanging from his arm, and his belt holding glasses to pour the drinks into. The underside is marked with the impressed Gardner marks as well as the number 3. Verbilki, Russia, 19th century. Dimensions: H: 7 3/8 in., (18.7 cm.)
