A GERMAN IMPERIAL CHINA CAMPAIGN MEDAL FOR 1900-1901, BOXER REBELLION - A gilt medal awarded to soldiers of the German Empire who served from 1900-1901 during the Boxer Rebellion in Qing Dynasty China. The face depicts the German Imperial Eagle defeating the Qing Dragon in battle. The verso reads 'Den Siegreichen Streitern' meaning 'to the victorious fighters', in addition to the text '1900 China 1901', all surrounding the Prussian Crown and W cypher of Kaiser Wilhelm.
