A GERMAN KYFFHÄUSER VETERANS ASSOCIATION MEDAL WITH THREE CAMPAIGN BARS - Oval gilt-bronze commemorative medal suspended from a black, white and red ribbon, fitted with three campaign clasps inscribed ”Luftkampf” (Air Combat), ”Flandern u. Artois” (Flanders and Artois), and ”Karpathen” (Carpathians). The obverse depicts a sword superimposed over lightning bolts and military motifs, while the reverse bears an inscription commemorating service during the First World War. The medal is mounted for wear with retaining pins to the reverse. Dimensions: 1 3/4 x 1 1/4 in., (4.5 x 3.2 cm.) Conditions: Good overall condition with expected wear, minor rubbing and oxidation to the gilt finish. Ribbon exhibits age-related wear, creasing, and minor fraying.
