A RUSSIAN MINIATURE ORDER OF ST. STANISLAUS IN GOLD, CA. 1900 - A miniature order of St. Stanislaus in Gold, meant for affixing to a jacket rather than hanging from a ribbon around the neck. The medal comprises a Maltese cross with four gold arms decorated with red enamel, interspersed with gold Russian Imperial Eagles between each arm, the center with painted white enamel surrounded by a ring of green enamel. The cross is set against a red and white ribbon rosette, in similar style to the neck ribbon of the larger variant. Imperial Russia, circa 1900. Dimensions: D: 1 in., (2.5 cm.)
