A EUROPEAN, 20TH CENTURY SILVERED METAL FIGURAL CAMEL STAND - Modeled as a recumbent camel resting on an oval base, the animal is naturalistically rendered with a finely textured coat and expressive head fitted with a bridle. The body is adorned with a saddle harness, complete with straps and buckles in relief, supporting a circular platform at the hump, likely intended as a small stand for a vessel, inkwell, or ornamental holder. The base is of oval form with a molded border of repeating gadrooned ornament, complementing the similarly decorated circular platform above. The surface is finished in silvered metal, with areas of darker tonality emphasizing the modeling and relief details.
