A SET OF NINE HAND-PAINTED ROYAL DOULTON PORCELAIN PLATES FOR W. H. PLUMMER, EARLY 20TH CEN. - A set of nine hand-painted porcelain plates by the English firm Royal Doulton, founded in 1815 and receiving the Royal Warrant in 1901. These plates are all decorated similarly, with rims showing gilt geometric and scrollwork designs surround small floral arrangements, with the centers also being decorated with floral bouquets, however, here each plate has their own unique design for the flowers displayed. The undersides are stamped with the Royal Doulton mark, in addition to that of the American importer and retailer 'Wm H Plummer' of 26 West 22nd Street in New York City, New York.
