A MINIATURE POTRAIT OF JULIETTE RECAMIER AFTER HER PORTRAIT BY FRANCOIS GERARD (1770-1837) - A miniature version of the portrait of famous French socialite Juliette Recamier, originally painted by the important French painter François Pascal Simon Gérard, well renowned for his portraits of the leading men and women of the day, including Napoleon Bonaparte, Joachim Murat, Joséphine de Beauharnais, and Talleyrand, among many others.
