A RUSSIAN SILVER TEAPOT AND SUGAR BOWL, 1861 - Each of the lobed baluster forms on a circular foot, the teapot with a curved spout, arched handle, and domed lid surmounted by an onion-shaped finial; the sugar bowl of conforming design with twin handles and a removable lid. Both interiors gilt. Hallmarks: 84 silver standard, assay mark Э.Б / 1861 for Eduard Fedorovich Brandenburg (active 1850–1866), Moscow city mark (St. George for Moscow), maker’s mark M.S. Maker: M.S.
