описание:
Of cylindrical form with a flaring circular base and decorative rococo-style scroll handle, the upper and lower rims are finely chased with a continuous foliate border. The front is engraved with an elaborate Cyrillic monogram "VVSH" within a reserve.
Hallmarks: maker’s mark “MT” (Cyrillic), kokoshnik mark with 84 silver proof.
Weight: 5.1 oz. (approx. 145 g.)
This elegant tea-glass holder represents the late Imperial taste for restrained Neoclassical ornament enriched with Rococo revival details, popular in the final decades of the 19th century. The crisp foliate borders and monogram engraving suggest it was a personalized commission or presentation piece.
