A (RUSSIAN) UNION OSVOD USSR BADGE ”WATER RESCUER” - Unknown workshop, 1938–1941. Bronze, enamel, 12.9 g. Dimensions: 39.27 × 32.75 mm. Multi-piece construction. The badge features a central anchor with a Red Cross banner over enamel in the colors of the Soviet naval ensign, surrounded by a laurel wreath. The inscriptions read: ”СОЮЗОСВОД СССР” (Union OSVOD USSR) and ”ВОДОСПАСАТЕЛЬ” (Water Rescuer). Reverse with screwback; the nut is a later replacement. Reference: Zak A. S., Voronchenko V.
