A SMALL BRONZE BUST OF A CHILD WITH CARVED FACE, FRANCE, EARLY 20TH CEN. - A small bronze bust of a child with their delicate, carved bone face framed by draped fabric, with a small rope being used to bring in the hood around the neck. The rear of the piece is signed 'G. de. Chouin'. The underside of the translucent stone base is affixed with a bronze frame which has been stamped 'MADE IN FRANCE', '1548', 'M' and scratched with the number '954'.
