A FINE RUSSIAN CHASED SILVER PAIL/BUCKET, 1896 - Russian silver vessel made in the form of a pail with a swing handle. The body is decorated with a continuous rustic village scene, featuring finely chased figures in traditional dress dancing in a circle beside log houses and a church with onion domes. On the reverse is a monogram in Cyrillic script beneath a decorative cartouche. The lower band bears an engraved presentation inscription dated 1924. Hallmarks: 84 Russian silver standard, ”F. Ya.” maker's mark in Cyrillic, 1896, French import mark. Weight: 38.8 o., 1110 g. Please make all inquiries before bidding. All lots are sold ”as-is”, refer to our T&C.
