A RARE RUSSIAN SILVER TEREMOK (HUT) MONEY BANK, 19TH C. - Russian silver and parcel-gilt casket or money bank designed in the form of a traditional wooden teremok. The hinged gable roof lifts to reveal a gilded interior. The facades are finely engraved and chased to imitate wood grain, window shutters, brick foundations, and elaborate architectural motifs, including onion-dome style roof cresting, pierced eaves, and foliate corner embellishments. Hallmarks: 84 Russian silver standard, Saint Petersburg city mark. Weight: 16.8 o., 477 g. Please make all inquiries before bidding. All lots are sold ”as-is”, refer to our T&C.
