A RUSSIAN GILT-SILVER AND ENAMEL BEAKER BY ADLER, 1877 - Russian gilt-silver and cloisonne enamel beaker of traditional tapering cylindrical form, with a slightly flared lip and raised foot rim. The exterior is richly decorated with vibrant cloisonné enamel in a Neo-Russian foliate scroll pattern, featuring a symmetrical arrangement of stylized blue, green, red, and turquoise vines on a gilt ground. The interior is fully gilt. Hallmarks: 88 Russian silver standard, Moscow city mark, 1877, maker's mark ”Adler”. Wright: 9 o., 253 g. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
