A SILVER-GILT AND CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL SPOON, IN THE RUSSIAN STYLE - A large silver-gilt spoon with an oval bowl, the back finely decorated in polychrome shaded cloisonné enamel with scrolling floral motifs on a white ground, the handle terminating in an enamel-decorated finial, with twisted stem. Dimensions: L: 6 5/8 in., (16.7 cm.) Condition: Very good condition overall. Enamel decoration is bright and intact with minimal wear; only tiny expected surface abrasions, no significant chips or losses. The gilding on the silver bowl shows some light wear and patina from age, mostly on the interior, which can be polished if desired but is consistent with antique character. Marks are clear and well-struck.
