ELEVEN PARCEL-GILT ENGRAVED SILVER RUSSIAN TEASPOONS, 1887 - A SET OF ELEVEN RUSSIAN PARCEL-GILT SILVER TEA SPOONS, CIRCA 1890–1900. Each spoon with an oval gilt bowl, finely hand-engraved to the reverse with scrolling foliate and geometric strapwork patterns, the twisted handles terminating in knop finials. The interiors of the bowls retain their original parcel-gilt finish, contrasting with the silver exterior. Hallmarks: maker's initials, 84, 1887. Weight: 9.4 o., (266 g.)
