A RUSSIAN (SOVIET) PORCELAIN FIGURE OF ANNA AKHMATOVA, 1924 - A glazed and hand-painted porcelain Lomonosov Porcelain Factory (LFZ) titled Anna Akhmatova, inspired by literary themes sculpted by Natalia Danko. The figure represents a tall, slender woman with a black bob haircut, clothed in a gray dress with a boldly colored shawl draped over one shoulder. The shawl features vivid red, orange, and yellow folkloric or stylized paisley motifs. The pose is reserved and introspective, with one hand held over her chest—a fitting tribute to Akhmatova’s austere poetic voice and tragic biography. Cyrillic inscription to base: ”А. А.
