A Dutch legal document from the height of the Dutch Renaissance, referring to a transaction between a man by the name of Thomas von Stern and Alten Rein. Dated 1520 in two places on the verso.

Dimensions: 8 3/4 x 12 1/2 in., (22.2 x 31.8 cm.)
Condition: No loss to text or vellum. Some small stains in places and general signs of age. Slit toward center of vellum where something was attached, probably a seal.
