A C. 17TH CENTURY SPANISH CUP-HILT RAPIER - A well preserved Spanish cup-hilt rapier, with a fluted, carved wood handle, two straight quillons, a curved knucklebow, and a domed pommel. The double-edged blade is still straight and pointy. The inside of the cup-hilt shows evidence of repair which appears to be from around the same period of its manufacture, possibly indicating use of this weapon in combat or in training.
