A RUSSIAN THEATRE COSTUME DESIGN DRAWING FOR A HASIDIC CHARACTER, JUDAICA INTEREST - A Russian Soviet-era mixed media on paper drawing depicting a caricaturesque image of a Hasidic man holding a bag inscribed in Hebrew 'Tzedakah, ' meaning 'Charity.' Possibly a costume design for the famous GOSET theatre in Moscow. Signed with the Cyrillic initials 'I.L.' on the lower right. Circa the 1920s. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
