A CONTINENTAL ART DECO STERLING SILVER COVERED URNS WITH DOLPHINS AND SEAHORSES - An unusual and seemingly custom-made pair of Art Deco urns with a nautical theme. Made out of sterling silver, not hallmarked but tested, and both mounted on turned wood bases. The tall chalices have matching lids. The design parts from a wavy motif with sea-life inspired accents, dolphins and seahorses. There is a probability that these items are a one of a kind piece done perhaps as a nautical sports trophy. The pair was made in the 1920s in Europe, likely in Italy. In remarkable antique condition with age appropriate wear and use. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
