A RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT AND CHAMPLEVE ENAMEL SALT THRONE
Ivan Khlebnikov, 1885
Silver-gilt salt cellar in a shape of a throne, heavily decorated with cloisonne enamel. Engraved in Russian on the inside of the lid: "From Russian Labour Union of Christians Teetotalers, February, 14th, 1916".
Hallmarks: Moscow 88 silver standard, Imperial warrant, "A.R', 1885, maker's mark "I.H" in Cyrillic".
Weight: 4.9 oz., (138 g.)
