A CIRCA 1870S MEISSEN GERMANY PORCELAIN CANDLESTICK PAIR, WOMAN AND PUTTO
A very good quality pair of German Meissen porcelain candlesticks after models by the sculptor Johann Joachim Kaendler (1706-1775). The pieces depict images of female figures holding a child. Both items are marked on the underside with the blue crossed swords.
Germany, 19th century.
