A RUSSIAN MIKHAILOVSKOE ARTILLERY SCHOOL, CA. 1900 - Russian Imperial Artillery School badge of the Mikhailovskoe Artillery School in St Petersburg. Double-headed eagle of the Nicholas I period under an Imperial crown, holding in its claws two crossing cannons with a grenade superimposed on the intersection of the cannons. On the wings of the eagle, there are the monograms of Alexander I on the left and Nicholas II on the right. In the center of the badge, there is a cut of a cannon barrel under the Imperial crown, with two laurel branches and an inscription along the surrounding ring, and inside the monogrammed letter ”M” and year 1820.
