A JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINT, 19TH CENTURY - Japanese woodblock print by Utagawa Kunisada (1786-1865) titled ”Ichikawa Danjuro VII as Omatsuri Sashichi”. Matted, housed in a wooden frame. Has a ”Chimatco Illustration Board”, manufactured by the Chicago Cardboard Company stamp on the verso. Utagawa Kunisada was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist. He is considered the most popular and commercially successful designer of ukiyo-e woodblock prints of his time. Dimensions: 14 x 10 in., (35.5 x 25.5 cm.) Please make all inquiries before bidding.
